Hopefully if we get another game in the future, it wont suffer like JoJo.

My estimated sale in Japan is around 40k for PS4, 20k for PS4 AV, 10k for VITA and 10k for VITA AV, around 80k, which isnt bad considering Naruto Storm has almost the same units sold in the opening For non-Japanese, non Gintama fan, it sucks 90%

For legimate gamer who just bought this game out of curiousity, it is mediocre. For non-gamers or casual Musou fans, the game is quite harder. Now for the gameplay, there is mixed reactions. They dont mind lack of online capability, most just want fanservice- and the game achieved it. Some even buy PS4 or Dying Vita for just for this game. The closest kind of fandom Gintama have right now is Token Ranbu,Osomatsu,Haikyuu. I mean we could have some FighterZ type with online capabilities, but base on what I've seen from the buyers of Gintama Rumble Nothing feels good if you self-insert and smash jobbers like what happened in Benizakura(Harusame), Yoshiwara(Hyakka), 4 Devas (Shinra, Yakuza etc), Baragaki (Mimawarigumi), Courtesean (Palace Guards and Naraku), SA (Yato, etc), FS (Mimawarigumi,Naraku) and Rakuyo(Harusame). To be honest, i like the "Warriors-type". Buy the AV version and you'll get the best treat. Give me tier B Arcs like Ghost Ryokan with the Stands, Ryuguju Arc using Old Zura or Gintoki, Fuyo smashing Robots or Renho Arc Gundam-musou, im sold.įor grownup fans that exist since the 2004-2009 era and don't have any time for Gintama except watching latest episodes, it is a sure bang for buck. Not really a fan of serious arcs compared to comedy. decent, but it only work miracles if you're fan of nostalgic glasses.Since Im rewatching anime/manga stuffs and participating discussions constantly, it fails as a real independent game. Ive only unlocked 2 skill 3 so far but I cant wait to see what else is instore.ħ/10. Every rumble will restore his skill 3, and every skill 3 will restore his rumble in an endless loop. What you will find is katsura no longer has to use normal combos as long as there are enough enemies and he is in awakening mode. Give katsura normal Elizabeth as an assist (mine is prof 2). When you take all of this and you add the power ups you can get some really impressive combinations.Įxample: I just unlocked katsura skill 3. Drop your first 12 points into skill before writing off a character. These are things you wont realize unless you unlock their later skills so I encourage those who havent and stopped playing to atleast try getting that far. I play katsura 100% differently from tsukuyo who plays 100% differently from gintoki. On top of this every character plays differently and feels quite unique when chaining combos. This distinction and realization has made me see rumbles game mechanics in a new light.

After unlocking my characters skills in rumble, however, I find myself actually using all 4 combos (plus the air combos for some characters). Musou gives you about 7 combos, but like the case with fire emblem warriors I end up focusing my build and really only using 1 or 2 of those 7 combos over an over. With that said over time I have come to love the very differences I thought I would hate. I wanted a musou game and senran kagura wasnt even on my radar of possibilities. I have to say at first I was dissapointed. Like the 10 minute long cutscenes, but to add some positivity to this post im going to talk mostly about combat mechanics. I can go on about how trash the main story decisions are. Feels more like an overview then a review imo.
